BIO:

d_luxe design duo Karie Higgins and Megan Oliver met whilst studying Interior Architecture in Wellington, New Zealand. With knowledge fostered in architectural and industrial processes the move to jewellery design was simply a shift in scale.

Architectural backgrounds drive their non-traditional approach to the methods involved in jewellery design. There has been a strong demand for their work since the beginning because of this unique aesthetic.

The collaborative process with fashion designers helps d_luxe explore garments as an essential backdrop to their work. Along with the references they draw from the fashion world, architecture and art remain a constant source of inspiration.
